Introduction/lesson:

Lessons are 3 hours of instruction and practice with all gear provided. This is the perfect way to get introduced to the sport of fly fishing. The first hour is spent on the lawn at a park to go over casting mechanics and technique. The next two hours are spent on the water where we practice drifting, mending, and where the practical applications of casting. The focus of this trip is to gain the foundation principles around casting and presenting a fly. Intermediate and advanced lessons focusing on specific techniques can be arranged.

Bass

Massachusetts is home to very respectable large and small-mouth bass fishing. These hard hitting and hard fighting fish are really fun to catch on fly tackle. Bass pond trips can accommodate up to two anglers. Connecticut River trips are run out of a 17’ flats boat and can accommodate one or two anglers. #splatpopgulp
