Streamer Clinic

Fish with Jay in Ontario

Join me at Hawk Lake Lodge between July 21 and August 2, 2025 for a guided fly fishing trip! A minimum of three days is recommended and a 5 night stay will enter you into a drawing for a new Orvis Recon 9’ 6wt courtesy of Hawk Lake Lodge.

Each guided trip will consist of one 6 - 8 hour trip, either in the morning (5am ish start) or evening (2 pm ish start), depending on conditions, on one of the many lakes surrounding Hawk Lake Lodge.

I can guide up to three anglers at a time. Depending on conditions we may be split between multiple boats.

Lodging includes all meals and must be booked directly through Hawk Lake Lodge, an award-winning and Orvis-endorsed fly fishing lodge featuring gourmet meals and top shelf libations. Lodging + meals at Hawk Lake Lodge $750/person/night.

Guiding rate with Jay is $600/day for up to three anglers.

Additional guides can be provided by the lodge at the cost of $325/day.

Travel costs are not included, and for most people, the best way to get to Hawk Lake Lodge is to fly into Winnipeg in Manitoba, rent a car, and drive three hours east into western Ontario.

2024 Hawk Lake Destination Trip

Hawk Lake Lodge is located in an incredible smallmouth and pike fishery, with the possibility of 6-pound smallies. At least one of us is catching a "lifetime fish." We hope you can join us! This is truly an incredible destination for trophy fish.
